Follow Up Story on Mexico's Drug Economy

I recently wrote an article entitled, Securing United States Borders With Mexico; I hope you all read it. If not you can read it here:

As a follow up article, I forgot mentioning my unnamed sources elucidated whereby Mexico is aiming to become the most powerful drug cartel run country in the world; this is why:

1) Mexico is quickly consolidating power and profit in becoming the single entrance gateway for which all cocaine and other drugs from South America gain entrance into the United States, for American customers through the tunnel system I previously discussed.

2) It is way too expensive as well as being a lost cause constantly trying to bribe U.S. customs officials to allow drugs in via the conduit of small aircraft and boat, in the post 9/11 environment and the constant threat of terrorism looming.

3) AS FOX News Channel brought up this afternoon, my sources told me of the single state in Mexico completely run by organized crime (everyone in this state is related to the drug cartel family). They clearly explicated whereby they kidnap persons for cash threatening to chop off fingers and other body parts of persons crossing them in the government.

J (more to come)

PS: All other countries in South America now depend upon Mexico for smuggling drugs into America.

I say this as an objective neutral news analyst. I feel drugs ought to be legalized and regulated. On a side note the nightclubs in this particular Mexican state sound like a great time!

The only way to tackle it is to LEGALIZE, but of course there are way too many people on BOTH sides of the border who’s wallets continue getting fatter by the day, to allow such ”atrocity” to pass.

They use the excuse of ”public health”...I don’t know about you, but I’d rather see addicts fall ill than continue living my life the way I am, here in Mexico, wondering when and if my wife or one of my kids will be kidnapped or caught in a rain of bullets.

Ther Merida Initiative is Crap...It is essentially money thrown in the wind to keep the violence and mutilations to the South, while allowing the desired drugs to enter ”blood free” to the North.

As for the narco State you make reference to, it is very true, however, MOST states are being run the same way. The government crack down has caused more violence. Kidnapping, extortion, and human trafficking have become means of earning money that is being lost by raids and arrest.

Dear Oscar: I completely agree with you. The Merida Initiative is in my estimation merely a diplomatic tool being contemplated for political show. Like the Prohibition period back in the day in America, by now American lawmakers realizeprohibiting certain substances will not make them dissapear. I was not previously familliar with the Merida incentive and I’ll have to read it in more detail when I can. I welcome your contacting me in commentary. I always possess strong interests in learning as to shape the world into a better place for all of us, and our future posterity. Jill Starr PS: I hope to chat aagin with you if youlike.

It is aggravating to see such b.s. and not be able to do a damn thing about it.
It is more aggravating to see that many Americans do not know what is happening.

It is very easy to see Mexico as corrupt and violent..OF COURSE IT IS, but you can see it, because our ”cards are on the table.”

Our President is making no excuse, no one is trying to hide the fact that we are fu@ked here...No one is hiding the fact that ”we brought it on ourselves” by turning a blind eye to corruption for decades on end...

The difference is WE are aknowledging our errors and desperatly trying to make things right...It will probably NEVER happen in my lifetime, but I pray one day this ”last efforts” we are making will lead to a Mexico we can be proud of..to pass onto my children, grandchildren and future generations.

We are opening OUR eyes, yet everywhere we look, there are comments written to the likes of ”NUKE MEXICO”, ”WHY DO WE HAVE TO HELP IN THEIR FILTHY DRUG WAR.”

I wish not to offend, but the only true difference between our filth and corruption and the U.S., is ours is done in the light of day..It is blatant and obvious, while the people profiting in the U.S. still do it ”behind closed doors”.

We have grown accustomed to ”looking in the mirror.” It’s a damn ugly sight, but we are admitting. They say change cannot be made without first admitting to ones errors.

OUR drug war, is Your drug war as well. They walk hand in hand, supply and demand...Many say our efforts are futile...Let’s hope not, because if they get past ours, they’ll be in yours. That is something I would not wish on even my worse enemy.

The blame game must end..Both of our countries could sit on our asses, like we have done for so long, and point fingers..And as it has happened for so long..We will get nowhere.

Walls can continued to be built a mile high, but it will not work, when ”someone” wants what ”another” is selling..The same goes for illegal immigrants.

Walls mean nothing when there is always someone awaiting with the ”front door open” .....
